The game is turn-based, and both the player and numerous enemies take turns performing actions. The game world is placed in a tile-based square grid that is viewed from a top-down perspective, where the player, enemies, items and objects occupy discrete squares. The entire game is randomly generated, so monsters, traps, loot are never on the same place. The player enters a Mansion on the top floor and gradually progress down the increasing difficulty floors by leveling up. The player can assume the role of one of four different character class types, the Warrior, Wizard, Assassin or Shaman. On August 2, 2017, it was announced that it would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. It was later released for PlayStation 4 on January 17, 2017. In February 2016, it was announced that the game was being developed on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and was released on September 29, 2016. It was initially released for Windows, Mac and iOS and was later ported to Xbox One via on September 7, 2015. The game features 16-bit graphics to resemble games from the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis era. Quest of Dungeons is a roguelike indie game released on Maby Portuguese developer Upfall Studios.
